The Model T100U Trace-level SO2 analyzer has been developed specifically to address the challenges of low level monitoring as required, for example, in the US NCore network. It uses the proven UV fluorescence principle, and is designed to allow ultra-sensitive SO2 measurements while still meeting the requirements for use as a US EPA compliance analyzer.The analyzer uses both the light and dark phases of the pulsed UV light source to continuously detect and correct for electronic noise, giving exceptionally stable and sensitive performance. A separate UV detector allows the instrument to continuously correct for variations in lamp intensity. Exceptional stability is achieved with the use of an optical shutter to compensate for PMT drift, and a reference detector to correct for changes in UV lamp intensity. A hydrocarbon "kicker" and advanced optical design combine to prevent inaccuracies due to interferents.

Physitemp’s original Thermes high accuracy ISA based data acquisition system has been redesigned to create a more versatile USB model. The new system requires no internal connections to your computer and simply connects via an external USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. Two versions of the data acquisition system are available. The standard version, THERMES USB, is connected to your computer USB port. The wireless version - THERMES USB WFI, can be either directly connected to a USB port or, with the included wireless receiver, positioned up to 100 feet from the host computer. Each unit will accommodate up to 7 type T thermocouple sensors and multiple Thermes units may be connected to the same computer for more thermocouple inputs. A high accuracy electronic cold junction compensation circuit maintains typical system accuracy of ±0.2°C over an ambient temperature range of 15 to 35°C. Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a 10:1 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MΩ. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400V, some as high as 600V. Teledyne LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which tells the oscilloscope to scale the waveforms automatically requiring no user input.Each passive probe is recommended for a certain oscilloscope, using the right passive probe with the right oscilloscope means that the probe will be properly compensated across the entire bandwidth. Using probes with a different oscilloscope will only let you compensate for low frequencies.
