RF Coaxial Probes & Probe Positioner
Fairview Microwave’s line of coaxial RF probes and RF PCB probe positioner are ideal for use with chip evaluations, signal integrity measurements, coplanar waveguide, substrate characterization, gigabit SERDES and test fixture applications. The RF coaxial probes provide return loss better than 10 dB and a maximum operating frequency of 20 GHz. The probes have a 3.5mm female interface, a pitch of 800 or 1500 micron and they can be cable-mounted. They feature gold-plated contacts and can be used by hand, with or without a probe positioner. Compliant coaxial GSG (or GS) pogo pins allow for a broad range of probing angles. The RF PCB probe positioner can hold coaxial probes, has articulated joints and delivers multi-axis positioner control. This positioner also boasts a magnetic mounting plate with on-off positioner switch.

The N1427A is designed to operate specifically with the B2985B/87B Electrometer/High Resistance Meter. It comes with a separate triaxial (special screw-type) female connector and a High Voltage BNC (special type) female connector. This allows terminal configuration to be converted to any other configuration. Therefore, custom test fixture can easily be constructed. The N1413A High Resistance Meter Fixture Adapter is also required to connect the N1427A to the B2985B/87B.

All slides are rated to support 180 lbs (81 kg) to accommodate even the largest fixtures. To order, measure rack depth between mounting rails. The S930902B spectrum analysis adds high-performance microwave spectrum analysis to the PNA family up to 26.5 GHz. With fast stepped-FFT sweeps resulting from optimized data processing, the SA application provides quick spurious searches over broad frequency ranges. Simultaneous spectrum measurements can be done using up to five test and reference receivers. This multi-channel SA can be used with the internal swept-signal generators for efficient measurements of spurious signals emanating from mixers and frequency converters. The SA application employs source-power and receiver-response calibration as well as fixture de-embedding, providing in-fixture and on-wafer spectrum measurements with the highest level of accuracy.
