In addition to the quad display, the unit will also display two full images side-by-side unlike split screen, which only shows a portion of each image. The two images may be easily exchanged with a front panel switch. The side by side display works well with wide screen monitors where the additional black at the top and bottom isn’t as visible, maximizing display use.
