Dione 640 CAM Series
The Dione 640 CAM series is based on the Dione 640 OEM thermal imaging core with 640 x 480 pixels and 12 μm pixel pitch. The NETD is less than 40 mK (available upon request) or 50 mK. The maximum frame rate is 60 Hz.The camera cores are optimized for low SWaP (Size, Weight and Power). The Dione 640 CAM is both lightweight and small. It utilizes Xenics image enhancement for advanced image processing while keeping power consumption low.All Dione 640 CAM versions have the same SAMTEC ST5 connector and are GenICam compliant. Dione 640 CAM is a LWIR uncooled thermal imaging SWAP module with housing supporting M24/M34 lens (optional). The ultra-compact Dione 640 CAM series find application in safety and security systems, as well as in industrial thermal imaging systems.

Image intensifier tubes (IITs) are vacuum tubes that amplify a low light-level image to observable levels. Image intensifier tubes are the most important modules of night vision devices that play crucial role in defense/security/industrial applications.Technology of manufacturing of image intensifier tubes is very difficult and performance parameters of modern IITs varies even within the same technological process. Next, test report offered by manufacturers cannot be fully trusted because there are some differences in test methods used by different manufactures. Further on, there are literature sources presenting conflicting claims of different manufacturers. It is quite common to find on the world market two night vision devices (or two image intensifier tubes) of the same data sheet parameters but of totally different image quality. Inverse situation is possible, too. Due to reasons mentioned above testing image intensifier tubes is of critical importance for both their manufacturers, manufacturers of night vision devices (NVDs) and final users of NVDs.

Dielectric Resonator Oscillators
Dielectric resonator oscillators (DRO) are free running oscillators that utilize state-of-the-art planar circuits, three-terminal devices and dielectric resonator technology to generate high-quality microwave signals with excellent frequency stability. In addition, these oscillators are equipped with an internal voltage regulator that further improves the frequency stability by isolating the external bias pushing and modulation. In general, these oscillators are fixed. However, a small mechanical or electrical tuning range can be achieved by use of a self-locking screw or an integrated Varactor diode.
