Preamplifiers
A.H. Systems'' Preamplifier line is an excellent choice with a rugged design, no hassles with soldering your own power leads and they improve overall system sensitivity by at least 20 dB. All of A.H. Systems'' Preamplifiers come with a 12-volt (or 15-volt) DC regulated power source. A low voltage indicator confidently allows you to power the amplifier with your own external 12-volt DC battery. This makes it a convenient choice for field measurements. See table below for amplifier specifications.

Highly Sensitive Silica Monitor
SLIA-300
The ultra-pure water that is used in the semiconductor production processes can be further purified by using an ion-exchange resin. Capturing the silica that is dissolved from this ion-exchange resin as quickly as possible can control the ultra-pure water quality, which is important during the production processes.HORIBA Advanced Techno has developed and employed a new "long light path length measurement cell" to enable highly sensitive measurement of ultra-low density silica and also realized a compact desktop model to improve the usability.

Low Noise Pre-Amplifiers
Low Noise Pre-Amplifier and companion external low noise amplifier (LNA) are used to amplify low level microwave signals. The Pre-Amplifier contains an AC/DC power supply, internal low noise amplifier, and a bias tee to source a DC bias voltage on the RF input connector. To overcome cable loss between the test antenna and the Pre-Amplifier assembly, a remote low noise amplifier (LNA) is mounted directly onto the 10 GHz antenna. A bias tee inside the Pre-Amplifier chassis powers the remote LNA through the coax cable interconnecting the pre-amplifier and the 10 GHz test antenna.

RX Pre-Amplifier System
RAM-34
The RAM-34 is a complete pre-amplifier system designed primarily for the low bands 160M thru 40M. It has inputs for four receive antennas and internal 3-pole bandpass filters for 160M, 80M and 40M. In addition to the pre-amplifier, it has a step attenuator that togetherwith the amplifier stage provides gains from -20 dB to +20 dB in 5 dB steps. This allows equalizing the signal levels between the antenna inputs. Gain settings are memorized for each antenna on each band. Different types of receive antennas have different signal levels and the gain memories eliminate the need to adjust the receiver or pre-amplifier when switching between the antennas.

Preamplifiers
Preamplifiers recognize the extremely low amplitude AE signal produced from AE sensors, and convert the signals into amplified and usable forms. As applications and testing conditions vary, project needs may change as well. Physical Acoustics offers an entire line of preamplifiers for a variety of testing requirements. Operating in conjunction with our specialized AE software, preamplifiers also moderate signal size during the data collection process, helping to produce accurate results.
