With 512 kilo-bits (or 64 kilo-bytes) of storage, this product is great for any microcontroller that doesn't have any EEPROM storage space, like the SAMD21. You can use the Qwiic EEPROM for storing data like GPS waypoints and other user settings that need to be maintained between sketch uploads. The SparkFun Qwiic EEPROM has three address jumpers, allowing for up to eight EEPROMs on one bus. All communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing our handy Qwiic system (as the name implies). However, we still have broken out 0.1" spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.

All channels provide for voltage division ahead of transient suppression before going into the S&H ICs. Channels that are sampled and held use a common sample and hold pulse that samples while high and holds while low. Jumpers on each S&H chip allow buffering of analog signals where sample and holds are not required. An advantage to the buffers is that it provides a high input impedance for high impedance voltage dividers.

This SparkFun Qwiic Digital Temperature Sensor Breakout provides a combination of high temperature accuracy with excellent low power consumption using the AS6212 digital temperature sensor from ams AG. The sensor measures temperature data up to ±0.2°C; accuracy over a wide range (-40°C; to +125°C;) and consumes an average of 6µA in normal operation (0.1µA in standby). The AS6212 communicates via I2C and has eight available I2C addresses selected by a pair of solder jumpers on the board. The breakout routes the I2C interface to a pair of Qwiic connectors to work with our plug-and-play Qwiic Ecosystem but also routes the bus and other pins to a standard 0.1"-spaced PTH header for users who prefer a soldered connection.
