With safety always being a concern while working with electrical boxes, you can depend on TESCO’s Test Switch Protectors (Catalog No. 6442 & 6442-C) to alleviate any uncertainty. This was developed to provide temporary protection of the test switch and to address the rising concern that the terminals of the test switch are exposed while you’re working in the box. The switch protector can prevent incidental contact with live terminals or contact with tools. TESCO’s Test Switch Protectors are constructed of clear, flexible PVC with a voltage rating of 2500V. The switch protector will fit any brand of test switch, regardless of manufacturer, from 4 to 7-pole. TESCO can also develop custom designs of this product to meet unusual test switch configurations.

Today, TESCO’s line of Test Switches has been redesigned with the intention to combine the best features of tried and proven switching methods with improvements in materials and construction. All of the current carrying parts are bright tin plated to prevent corrosion. Good operating contact is assured on periodic meter tests, even when the switch has been idle for long periods of time in an unfavorable atmosphere.

This readily portable Knopp Loading Transformer weighs only 60 pounds and measures 12″ long, 9″ wide, and 10″ high. Its sturdy enclosure provides protection and adequate ventilation. The TESCO Training Boards were designed to create different problematic installation scenarios that a meter technician may encounter at an installation. The Training Boards are comprised of three independent meter sockets (Forms 1S, 2S and 12S) on the front of the board (trainee side).
