The CETAC Aridus3 Desolvating Nebulizer System is a specialized liquid sample introduction accessory for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP‑MS). The Aridus3 can enhance analyte sensitivity up to 10 times or more and can greatly reduce solvent-based interferences such as oxides and hydrides.The Aridus3 couples a low-flow (50, 100, or 200 µL/min) PFA nebulizer and a heated PFA spray chamber with an inert fluoropolymer membrane. This combination provides enhanced analyte sensitivity while reducing solvent based interferences such as oxides and hydrides. The Aridus3 is particularly advantageous for small volume and highly corrosive samples such as those generated in the earth sciences and the semiconductor industry.

The Falco Systems WMA-02 is a high voltage amplifier that runs from an 24 - 30V DC power supply and can be battery powered if required, e.g. for use in a Faraday cage. Its internal high voltage generator is inductor-free and hence does not spread magnetic interference in sensitive experimental setups. The output noise is impressively low at 4mVrms. For extremely low noise applications where bandwidth is not an issue, a dedicated WMA-02LF version is available that contains an output low pass filter capacitor which reduces the bandwidth to 50Hz, but makes the noise drop to below 0.2mVrms. This bandwidth-limited amplifier is ideal for MEMS or piezo positioning with manual voltage adjustment.

The Line EMI Meter measures electromagnetic interference in a single-phase AC power line. It plugs into a wall outlet (mains socket) and requires no battery. It immediately displays total line noise in millivolts (range 1999 mV, resolution 1 mV) in the frequency range 10 KHz 10 MHz (the frequency limits at which sensitivity is of the maximum sensitivity). The Model T200P provides measurements of NO and NO2 using our Model T200 NOx analyzer combined with a patented high efficiency photolytic converter. Even low temperature molybdenum converters transform other nitrogen-containing compounds such as HNO3, PAN, etc. to a considerable extent. Simultaneous measurements of NO2 performed with molybdenum and photolytic converters have shown significantly different results in the presence of such compounds.In the photolytic process the sample gas passes through a cell where it is exposed to light at a specific wavelength from an LED array. This causes the NO2 to be selectively converted to NO with negligible interference from other gases. Advances in the photolytic converter technology now yields NO2 conversion efficiency that is similar to molybdenum under typical ambient NO2 concentrations, but without the same interferences.
