Radiator Flow Test Machine

The Radiator Flow Test Machine P/N 8601 meets all requirements of military specification MIL-F-45955A (AL). It is completely self contained and requires only connection to a source of shop electrical power to place in operation. A power cable complete with three prong grounding plug is permanently attached to the machine for this purpose. The unit consists of a water storage tank, a pumping system, a flow measuring system, a support and workstation, and the required hose adapters for connection to different size radiators. The complete unit is mounted on swiveling casters. The flow rate is infinitely adjustable from 0 to 120 gallons per minute by means of a panel mounted control valve. The machine is constructed from heavy 10 gauge steel, is double welded and is coated externally and internally with a water-resistant epoxy coating. Flow measurement is accomplished by a digital panel meter with a calibrated accuracy of plus or minus 3 percent of scale between 5 and 120 gallons per minute. Higher flows available on request.

Thorlabs' Mode-Conditioned Light Sources are fiber-coupled LED sources that have an output with a flat-top profile in the far field. Common applications include the testing of multimode fused fiber components as well as verification of modal behavior in fiber-based setups. Standard fiber-coupled LED sources can have a range of output profiles that are usually not uniform and vary from source to source. This can be dependent on emitter orientation, alignment with fiber tip, and connector assembly. These mode-conditioned sources have been engineered to distribute light evenly into all transverse modes, resulting in an equilibrium modal distribution at the output. The front panel includes an adjustment knob to control the power and an output port that accepts 2.2 mm wide-key FC/PC connectors. The Handyscope TP450 is a power quality analyzer, connected via USB to the computer. The advanced measurement software delivered by default contains Quick Setups that allow to start mains power logging measurements without specialized instrument knowledge. With the 450 V input range, the Handyscope TP450 can be plugged directly in a (110 - 230 V) wall socket to measure the mains voltage. No additional attenuator is required. Logging mains voltage can be done at a high rate of 250 thousand measurements per second, with a resolution of 16 bit, which is equal to a 5½ digit voltmeter. The Handyscope TP450 is an accurate voltmeter, but one that performs 5000 measurements on each cycle of the mains voltage, while a standard voltmeter performs 3 measurements per second. Even with the very high measurement rate of the Handyscope TP450, the mains voltage can be measured continuously for weeks, and afterwards each period of the mains voltage can be analyzed thoroughly. Using this fast continuous measuring method, no voltage peak or dip is missed, even if it lasts just a msec. The maximum measuring duration of the mains voltage is only limited by the available hard disk space. Measuring one week takes approximately 0.69 GB disk space. During a measurement, also RMS value and frequency are logged. It is possible to measure various properties, like e.g. Minimum, Maximum, Peak to peak, Mean, Variance, Standard deviation.

The MCP9600 Breakout is a high accuracy Thermocouple Amplifier equipped with an I2C interface, accessed over our Qwiic system. Inside the chip are two temperature sensors, one for the thermocouple itself (the hot junction) and one for the chip itself (the cold junction). As a result, the MCP9600 can read both the ambient temperature and the temperature of whatever you're trying to measure! The MCP9600 can do both with a resolution of 0.0625°C, and an accuracy of ±1.5°C (worst-case). The MCP9600 Thermocouple Amplifier is one of our many Qwiic compatible boards! Simply plug and go. No soldering, no figuring out which is SDA or SCL, and no voltage regulation or translation required!
