TSI's Engine Exhaust Particle Sizer (EEPS™) 3090 spectrometer uses an array of sensitive electrometers, combined with three proprietary data inversion matrices, to provide real-time particle size data in 32 size channels (16 channels per decade). The data inversion matrices allow the researcher to optimize size distribution accuracy for specific particle types (soot, default and compact), and matrices can be applied at the time of measurement or in a post-processing environment. The EEPS spectrometer does not include any built-in sample dilution, giving the user maximum flexibility and independence with respect to sample conditioning.
