High Resistance Neutral Grounding Devices
HRG systems limit the fault current by placing high resistance between neutral point of transformer (or generator) and ground. As it is not possible to locate the fault point in delta connected systems, an artificial neutral point is created and delta connected system can be grounded. This allows a fault current of a few amperes thus locating the fault point gets easy. When the neutral point is grounded thru high resistance, both continuity of operation is provided during fault condition and sufficient current (typically between 2 A and 10 A) flow is provided for ease of locating the fault point.

PC Based High Current Test Set for Circuit Breakers and Temperature Rise Test Equipment
This equipment comprises of high current source for testing of circuit breakers with additional facility for temperature rise testing (thus incorporating testing for moulded case, vacuum & air circuit breakers as per IEC 60947-2). The system integrates a servo controlled source with closed loop current feedback to maintain the current constant. It has the necessary instrumentation for maintaining current at full load & other conditions arising in testing at high current. Voice coil drives consist of 2 essential components: A permanent magnet and a coil, which is located in the air gap of the magnetic field. When current flows through the coil, it moves in the magnetic field of the permanent magnet. The direction of motion depends on the polarity. Thanks to their low weight and friction-free drive principle, voice coil drives are particularly suitable for applications, which require high dynamics and high velocities at limited travel ranges. High scan frequencies and precision positioning are also possible with these drives, because they are free of the effects of hysteresis.

High Current Probes
The maximum continuous current rating of a spring probe is determined by its design, size, and construction. Typical probes are rated from 2 to 8 amps maximum continuously current at working travel. While this is sufficient for most board test applications, higher current applications will require a much more solid and rugged probe to withstand current capabilities of 10 to 150 amps and beyond.Another high current solution is our feed-through plunger probe line. As the name already describes, the plunger moves right through the probe and is made from a single piece, reducing the internal resistance of the probe to a minimum.

It accurately measures not only in factory environments but also in high-induction fields and substationsThe RMO-A series contains 6 models, rated from 100 A (RMO100A) to 600 A (RMO600A). The RMO500A (formerly CPM500) is our best seller, with 500 A ripple-free current and weighs only 8 kg.Although placed in a very portable and lightweight metal housing, RMO-A micro-ohmmeters have very high output power capabilities. They can generate 600 A test current continuously for up to 20 s. You can test with current up to 100 A without rest time. High output voltage enables a wider measurement range at the highest test currents, as well as the use of thinner/longer test cables. For testing with 100 A, 20 m test leads can be provided with only 16 mm2 cross-section.RMO-A micro-ohmmeter generates a true DC ripple-free (less than 1 %) current with automatically regulated test ramps.
