The RR024 is designed for Radar Electronic Support (RES) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) applications where high performance and small size are of prime importance, with filtering, amplification, detection and pulse parameter measurement being combined into one multi-function unit. Four amplitude measurement channels allow direction finding by amplitude comparison between adjacent antennas. An IFM, fed from one of the amplitude channels via an SPDT switch, performs 14 bits of frequency measurement on the selected input. Frequency resolution is nominally 1 MHz over a 2 to 18 GHz band.

This weather radar test fixture is a combination of the established WXT-250 series fixture and the RDR-2000 and RDR-2100 radars so that a single panel will provide many features that are still required today. The gyro simulator built into the panel is usable for either radar being tested and eliminate's plugging in any external simulator. The features for both product lines as shown in their respecting CMM's are provided on the panel so that full testing and alignment of these radars and their system components can be tested and/or evaluated. The AWS-0104 is a highly integrated silicon quad core IC intended for radar and 5G phased array applications. The device supports four radiating elements, single beam transmit, and single beam receive and includes all requisite beam steering controls for 6 bit phase and gain control. The device provides 21 dB gain during transmit mode, 21dB gain in receive mode, +15 dBm output power during transmit, and 3.4 dB NF during receive. Additional features include gain compensation over temperature, temperature reporting, and fast beam switching using eight on-chip beam weight storage registers. The device features ESD protection on all pins, operates from a +1.8V supply, and is packaged in a 56 lead 7x7 QFN for easy installation in planar phased array antennas.
