Gas Filter Correlation CO Analyzer
Model N300
-
Teledyne Advanced Pollution Instrumentation
The Model N300 is a microprocessor-controlled analyzer based on the Beer-Lambert law that is used to determine the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) in a sample gas.The N300 uses Gas Filter Correlation (GFC) to overcome the interfering effects of various other gases (such as water vapor) that also absorb Infrared (IR) light. The analyzer passes the IR light beam through a spinning wheel made up of two separate chambers: one containing a high concentration of CO known as the reference, and the other containing a neutral gas known as the measure. The concentration of CO in the sample chamber is computed by taking the ratio of the instantaneous measure and reference values and then compensating the ratio for sample temperature and pressure.

Gas Filter Correlation Carbon Dioxide Analyzer
Model T360
-
The Model T360 CO2 analyzer measures Carbon Dioxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high-energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO2 filled chamber and a chamber with no CO2 present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 2.56 meters. The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample. This design produces excellent zero and span stability and high signal to noise ratio, allowing excellent performance over a wide concentration range. All T Series instruments offer an advanced color display, capacitive touch screen, intuitive user interface, flexible I/O, and built-in data acquisition capability. All instrument set up, control and access to stored data and diagnostic information is available through the front panel, or via RS232, Ethernet, or USB com ports, either locally or by remote connection. The Model T360 comes with NumaView™ Software. NumaView™ Remote PC Software allows for a remote connection with virtual interface and data downloading capability to analyzers operating NumaView™ Software.

Working electrodes for flow cell are mounted on blocks of PEEK. This resin protects the electrodes from external noise and allows researchers to utilize them regardless the content of mobile phase of HPLC because of their hard, organic solvent-resistance. Glassy carbon is usually chosen for the redox reaction study on liquid chromatography. Platinum, Gold, Carbon paste and Nickel electrodes are utilized for special purposes. Thin Layer Cell has been used as a electrode for research such as flow injection analysis (FIA) and the HPLC.

In-Situ Cross- Stack Laser Analyzer
-
LS25 is an in-situ analyzer for non-contact measurement of the concentration of gases. The measuring principle of the LS25 is based on the principle of single line spectroscopy (Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy, TDLAS). A single cross-sensitivity-free absorption line of the gas to be measured is selected in the near infrared range. A single-mode diode laser operating at room temperature scans the respective absorption line. By using an opposite receiver, the absorption caused by the sample gas is measured and from this the concentration is calculated. An automatic correction for pressure and temperature changes is possible. In addition, the transmission is displayed respectively output as a signal for preventive maintenance.

Cross Hole Energizer P/S
CHE
-
Specially designed for small-scale cross-hole surveys, this compact hammer can be used to generate both P and S waves. The hammer can be downloaded using the steel cable and clamped to the requested depth by a pneumatic clamping system manually controlled by a lever from the surface; simply pushing up the steel cable to execute the first shot, the trigger installed on the energizer will start the acquisition for the “P/S”. After that you will have to drop the mass to make the acquisition with inverse polarity.

Crossing Control Bypass Switch
XCBS-DL
-
The XCBS-DL is permanently wired into each crossing warning system, and can be configured with either a removable or non-removable bypass key. Simply connect the track connection harness to the designated track connection terminals. To prevent unnecessary operation of the crossing warning system, insert the key and select "bypass", rotate the knife switch to "bypass" and the crossing is disabled. When in the "bypass" position, a Dummy Track Load is connected to the track wire connections in parallel with the rails and the crossing approaches are shorted, preventing unnecessary activation when track equipment is working in the crossing approach circuit. The opening of one track lead may be desired to prevent unnecessary activation with intermittent shunting on the crossing approaches close to the crossing.

Crossing Control Bypass Switch
XCBS
-
The XCBS is permanently wired into each crossing warning system, and can be configured with either a removable or non-removable bypass key. Simply connect the crossing control circuits to the designated terminals on the XCBS. The rotating "knife switch" on the left side of the XCBS allows the crossing warning system to be controlled for manual test purposes. To prevent unnecessary operation of the crossing warning system, insert the key and select "bypass", rotate the knife switch to "bypass" and the crossing is disabled. The non-removable bypass key adds an additional level of security for the Bypass function. Optional hookup can be made to the auxiallary terminals to include the activation of a strobe or event recorder input when the XCBS is placed in the "bypass" position.
