PXI High Density MUX BRIC, 48-Chan, 20-Pole

This range of High-Density Multiplexer is part of our BRIC family. These MUX's are designed to simplify the connection of a common set of test equipment to one of a number of different devices for testing (simultaneous multiple channel selection is also possible, without limitation). These multiplexers are ideal for applications where the equipment needs to conduct the same test process on a series of similar devices one at a time. They are available in a variety of configurations that allow testing with differing number of devices to be tested and different connection widths to suit differing test equipment pin counts. All version are supported in a BRIC8 construction that occupies eight PXI 3U mechanical slots, one of which provides the PXI interface and power.

LED Burn-In Test
Burn-in system, based on LXI instrumentation, for concurrent testing of up to 80 DUTs in a climatic chamber. Devices to be tested include modern light emitting diodes and LED modules.The system consists of 2 control cabinets, each with 40 independent supply and measurement channels. Each channel can be configured individually via the operator software (current or voltage, including the relevant limit values). The software supports logging of current and voltage values for each DUT on all 80 channels with a sampling rate of <1s. Additionally, the software and system also support digital I/O channels, e. g. for controlling the climatic chamber. Inputs for connecting temperature sensors are also provided.

EVISION Obstacle Detector

Obstacle Detector is a distance-measuring system based on ultrasonic sound utilizing the LPC2364FBD100. The system transmits a burst of ultrasonic sound waves towards the subject and then receives the corresponding echo. The LPC2364FBD100 integrated analog comparator is used to detect the arrival of the echo to the system. The time taken for the ultrasonic burst to travel the distance from the system to the subject and back to the system is accurately measured by the LPC2364FBD100. Assuming the speed of sound in air at room temperature to be 1100 ft/s, the LPC2364FBD100 computes the distance between the system and the subject and gives the information to buzzer. The minimum distance that this system can measure is eight inches and is limited by the transmitter’s transducer settling-time. The maximum distance that can be measured is 2 meter. The amplitude of the echo depends on the reflecting material, shape, and size. Sound-absorbing targets such as carpets and reflecting surfaces less than two square feet in area reflect poorly. The maximum measurable range is lower for such subjects. If the amplitude of the echo received by the system is so low that it is not detectable by the Comparator. Shielding Effectiveness/ Conductivity Test

The EM-2107A is a standard test fixture for evaluation of the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of planar material. The fixture is an enlarged section of coaxial transmission line and complies fully with the requirements of ASTM test method D4935-1. The measured data relates to the shielding effectiveness due to a plane wave (far field EM wave) from which near field values for magnetic and electric fields may be inferred. The EM-2107A is provided with a reference standard test specimen, a dynamic range specimen. Dynamic range of greater than 80dB is achievable, although the cables and other test system components usually establishes the limiting factors.
