Our LXI modular chassis are available in 7 and 18-slot and our LXI/USB modular chassis are available in 2, 4 and 6-slot and support over 1,000 of our PXI modules. The PXI modules supported range from: PXI general purpose relays, matrices, multiplexers and RF switches to special PXI switching functions such as fault/signal insertion. Also supported are a selection of simulation modules such as programmable resistors, digital I/O, power supplies, thermocouple simulators, function generator, battery simulators and attenuators. This gives you enormous flexibility to define a switching or T&M system to exactly match your needs.

7-Slot LXI Modular Switching Chassis

This 7-slot LXI chassis allows any of our large number of 3U PXI modules to be installed and controlled through a standardized Ethernet interface. Each of these modules are supported as though they are an LXI compliant device, complete with a driverless soft front panel that provides complete control of the module functions. The chassis supports up to seven 3U modules and is equivalent to an 8-slot PXI chassis.

LXI Low Thermal EMF Matrix 1-pole 42x33

The 60-510 is a high density 1-pole matrix module controlled via LXI. It has excellent thermal stability and substantially reduced thermal EMF figures when compared to a conventional switching matrix. Typical applications include signal routing in ATE, selecting thermocouple inputs, switching amplifier gain circuits and high accuracy DC micro-volt measurements. Ruthenium reed switches are used because of their good low level switching capability. They also have a very long life with excellent contact resistance stability, minimal wetting current and low thermal offset.

LXI Optical Switching - 2x2 Matrix (Insert/Bypass) Plugin Module

The 65-280-360 2x2 matrix is part of the 65-280 and 65-281 ranges of optical plug-in modules offering matrix & insert/bypass or multiplexer & SPST topologies respectively with all models based on MEMS fiber optic switches and available in various populations per plugin. In addition, a choice of different connector styles to suit most applications is offered: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC, SC/PC and ST for general applications and LC for high density applications. They use MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) based optical switches to route signals between terminals by redirecting the optical signal. This is achieved using micromechanical mirrors driven by a highly precise mechanism activated via an electrical control signal.
