Fairview Microwave’s solid state GaN (Gallium Nitride) power amplifiers (also called SSPAs) feature broad frequency bands ranging from 30 MHz to 7.5 GHz and very high gain levels from 43 to 60 dB. These GaN SSPAs also show impressive harmonic response (-15 to -20 dBc) under worst case conditions. Saturated output power levels range from 10W to 100W with 20% to 35% Power Added Efficiency (PAE). All of our high power solid state GaN amplifiers from Fairview have internally regulated single voltage supplies. Our GaN SSPAs are designed to withstand environmental conditions such as humidity, altitude, shock and vibration with an operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Flame Ionization Detector

A flame ionization detector converts a hydrocarbon gas concentration into an electrical signal. The flame is hydrogen fueled and burns in hydrocarbon free combustion air. Either side of the flame are two electrodes between which an electric field is generated by means of a polarization voltage. The sample is pre-mixed with the fuel gas and heated in the flame to a temperature at which the hydrocarbon molecules ‘crack’ and CH fragments appear. These CH fragments are oxidated by the oxygen in the combustion air resulting in the formation of CHO+ ions. The ion current then passes to the electrodes and the resulting current measured is proportional to the quantity of C atoms derived from organic compounds.The Thermo-FID features two separate microprocessor controlled pressure compensations to avoid any influence from environmental or sample conditions. In addition, the complete Thermo-FID range of analyzers are equipped with a flame trap that is used as a heated sample inlet filter. The measurement chamber and all material in contact with the sample gas are heated between 120°C and 200°C to avoid condensation.

The IRU152 is powered by the low-power NXP i.MX 6 UltraLite processer. It can withstand an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and up to 2G of vibration for operating in harsh environments. Furthermore, it supports NI LabVIEW to allow users to design graphical user interfaces for their measurement applications quickly and efficiently. In order to provide data collection and device control, the IRU152 comes with various I/O connectors, including four analog input (AI) channels, one isolated RS-232/422/485 port, one isolated LAN and one isolated DIO (2-in/2-out). The four analog input channels have differential input configuration and overvoltage protection of 55V DC. The maximum sampling rate of IRU152 is up to 250 kS/s with a 16-bit resolution for low-speed high-resolution sensor monitoring and signal measurements. Apart from the abovementioned features, the IRU152 comes in two PCI Express Mini Card slots and one SIM card slot for Wi-Fi, 3G/4G and LoRa connections. Engineers must commonly probe high-frequency signals with high signal fidelity. Typical passive probes with high input R and C provide good response at lower frequencies, but inappropriately load the circuit, and distort signals, at higher frequencies.
