VE series are non-contact type of vibration/small displacement detector with high accuracy which can measure the distance between conductor such as metal and sensor’s surface in micron/submicron resolution. It demonstrates its best performance when used for the measurement and control of the axial and surface vibration of rotational shafts such as main shaft of turbines, electric motors, compressors, and of the thickness and width of moving objects. In addition to the measurement of the amount of displacement, a gap detector can also be used for a wide range of other measurement and control applications such as the measurement of the amount of slack or warping. The non-contact measurement process enables to apply no load to rotational or vibration body, and does not affect the material under measurement.

Tracer Gas Leak Test Systems
Tracer gas leak testing is a simple and highly-efficient method of leak detection that provides high sensitivity as well as increased accuracy and repeatability. This method is used for testing parts with very low leak rates that are outside the range for conventional air-flow pressure decay and mass flow, or to replace bubble test methods. Tracer gas testing uses escaping tracer gas to identify micro-leaks in the range of 1x10-4 to 10-9 scc/s.

Ar Gas Cluster Ion Source

The Kratos Ar Gas Cluster Ion Source (GCIS) is optimised for depth profiling organic materials in Arn+ cluster mode and inorganic materials in Ar+ monomer mode, dependent on the operating parameters defined by the user and the type of material to be profiled. In Arn+ ion cluster mode the ions can be accelerated up to a maximum of 20 keV. This enables the successful sputter depth profiling of the widest range of polymer materials to be undertaken. However, Arn+ cluster depth profiling has been shown to give very low sputter yields for inorganic materials. In order to retain the capability of generating depth profiles from this class of materials this ion source can also be operated in the more conventional Ar monomer (Ar+) mode.
