The Zurich Instruments UHFLI is a digital lock-in amplifier covering the frequency range from DC to 600 MHz. In addition of providing the highest operation frequency amongst all commercial lock-in amplifiers, the UHFLI also offers the lowest time constant of 30 ns for demodulation, resulting in a demodulation bandwidth of more than 5 MHz. The exquisite analog front end offers a spectacular noise performance of 4 nV/Hz which helps in many applications to keep the signal-to-noise ratios high while speeding up the measurement. Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.
