Solar Light’s NIST-Traceable PMA-Series Digital Sensors represent the pinnacle of accuracy, durability, and selection on the market today. Our sensors measure discrete bands of the electromagnetic spectrum from the UVA, UVB, UVA+B, UVC, Visible Light, and Infrared regions. Both narrow and broad bands are available to fit any application, including germicidal requirements, environmental probes, and sensors for biologically weighted spectra (such as the erythema and CIE action spectra.) Over 135 different sensors are available in a variety of packages to fit any environment, from indoor clean rooms to harsh locations outdoors to 100 meters under water. Please note that Solar Light offers both Digital Sensors and Analog Sensors in the PMA-Series lineup. Select these Digital Sensors if you prefer to plug into our PMA-Series Radiometers to read the output of the sensor on the meter’s display. Digital models are typically used as discrete sensors that are portable and located to provide short term information. (By contrast, please select Analog Sensors if you don’t need a digital display output of the reading, if you will be connecting to your own datalogger, or if you plan to use a voltage source to provide excitation voltage to the sensor and a digital volt or amp meter to read and convert the results. Analog Sensors are typically used as process sensors that are permanently installed to provide ongoing information.)

Four channel MAX31855 digital thermocouple Arduino Shield. Two versions of this shield are avaliable for each thermocouple type: either 'Ch 0-3' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 7-10) or 'Ch 4-7' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 3-6), with the only difference being which set of zero-ohm resistors are populated on the board. This allows use of other SPI devices that may be 'hard coded' to specific digital pins on the Arduino, or simply stacking one of each type together to get a total of eight thermocouple channels on one Arduino. The MAX31855K supports a measured temperature range of -270C-1372C with known thermal characteristics and output resolution of 0.25C. The Model 3541 is designed for determination of fracture mechanics parameters such as JIC, KIC, R-curve, fatigue crack growth rate (da/dN), and testing to standards such as E1820, E399, E647, etc. These COD gages conform to the requirements of E1820 (the replacement for E813 and E1737) for JIC and R-curve determination. Special configurations are available to meet the requirements of ASTM E399 for fracture toughness (please consult the factory for these configurations). In addition, the modified groove design complies with E1820 tests where greater stability and accuracy results from the sharper groove root. Clip-on gages are used for a variety of fracture mechanics tests, including compact tension, arc shaped, disk shaped, bend specimens or other specimen geometries in compliance with ASTM and other standards organization’s test methods. Clip-on gages can be used directly on test specimens where the knife edges are integral with the test specimen or, alternately, with optional bolt-on knife edges mounted on the test specimen.The Model 3541 extensometers are strain gaged devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gaged transducers. Most often they are connected to a test machine controller. The signal conditioning electronics for the extensometer is typically included with the test machine controller or may often be added. In this case the extensometer is shipped with the proper connector and wiring to plug directly into the electronics. Security cameras capture an analog video signal and transfer that signal over coax cable to the Digital Video Recorder (DVR). Each camera may be powered by plugging in the power supply right at the camera or by using RG59 Siamese cable which bundles the video and the power cables. The DVR converts the analog signal to digital, compresses it, and then stores it on a hard drive for later retrieval. Intelligence is built into the DVR to handle such things as scheduling, motion detection, and digital zoom.
