Melexis 90217 Hall-Effect Sensor

Parallax has worked with the Melexis 90217 sensor in applications including CNC milling machine spindle speed measurement and feedback on motor RPM. With the CNC milling machine it reliably measured the top spindle speed of 7,500 RPM. This is a cost-effective and highly functional hall-effect sensor. The Melexis 90217 is designed to be used with a bias magnet (#605-00006) south facing the back (non-marked) side of the IC. Rotary Position Sensors
Using the same technology as our linear range but with a printed rotary coil opposed to the wound linear coil our rotary sensors offer the same high performance as the linear sensor range but with shaft driven rotary or gravity driven tilt measurement. The standard P500/P502 rotary sensors can be manufactured with a measurement range anywhere between 5 and 160. We also manufacture miniature rotary sensors such as the P501 and P505 and the P503 flat PCB style version for customer application fitment. SHF’s microwave components are broadband devices suitable up to 110 GHz. Our SHF BIAS TEES are well known but perhaps a slight variation does suit your application even better. DIPLEXERS are bias tees with a certain bandwidth in the low frequency path to combine or separate high frequency and low frequency signals into or out of a single line. DC-FEEDERS are bias tees without the capacitor. Therefore, it provides slightly lower insertion loss in case it is connected to an AC-coupled device which already has a capacitor on its input. Based on our air line construction, these passive components provide resonance-free transmission over the entire operating range.
