SOA Driver

SOA Driver slot module of FOTS system offers a special function that changes the amplification feature of input optical signal variously, by dynamically driving a built-in SOA module. This SOA Driver is an efficient module that can drive a high gain and low noise amplifier stably and modulate a high power amplified signal up to the rate of 155 Mbps. As a high power amplifier, this module drives the maximum amplified power of more than 10 dBm and has a stable broadband source characteristics of > 0 dBm. As a high-speed modulator of amplified signal combined with high current (400 mA) modulation technique, it outputs a high power and high bit rate amplified signal of > 155 Mbps with > 10 dBm peak power.

DP-cPCI-4017 is a 40 Channel Relay Multiplexer module constructed using ‘2 Form A’ relays. The DP-cPCI-4017 is implemented as a 6U cPCI module. As a 40 channel multiplexer, one input can be multiplexed to any of the forty outputs or vice versa. The forty channel multiplexer is divided into 4 banks of 10 channels each. This combination allows the board to be used as one group of 40x1 or two groups of 20x1 or four groups of 10x1 multiplexer. The banks are isolated from each other using tree switches. Four tree switches are used, one tree switch for each bank.

Eddy Current Probes and Drivers

This module has 16 single pole relays arranged as an 8x2 matrix as shown in the figure to the left. The matrix may be operated and wired individually for up to 16 8x2's per chassis, or jumpered to the backplane to form up to a 128x2 matrix. It is available with Type S or M reed relays for high speed, long life application. These modules are usually used for 2 wire testing where high and low meter leads must be switched between any two points. Often used for 2 wire LCR meter measurements, cable testing, or open / short testing in a variety of applications.

Frequency Sensing Relay
This relay is a frequency monitoring relay with four stages of adjustable frequency pick up & drop out points. Each frequency set point can be set for under or over frequency operation & has an independent time delay driving an output relay. An undervoltage lockout is used to disable the four frequency outputs when the voltage falls below a preset level. Each of the four setting stages has a rate of change of frequency (ROCOF) element with an independent time delay.
