This High Performance Video MUX is designed for the switching of RF signals in 75Ω systems at frequencies up to 1GHz. It is ideal for 75Ω monitoring applications that require a multiplexer to select one channel to be routed to measuring equipment. The automatic connection of unused channels into 75Ω terminations helps maintain signal integrity and minimizes the possibility of introducing unwanted responses. The common connection is also automatically terminated into 75 Ohm when unused. Front panel LED indicators adjacent to each multiplexer input connector provide an easy visual identification of the active channel.

The 65-280-313 8x8 matrix is part of the 65-280 and 65-281 ranges of optical plug-in modules offering matrix & insert/bypass or multiplexer & SPST topologies respectively with all models based on MEMS fiber optic switches and available in various populations per plugin. In addition, a choice of different connector styles to suit most applications is offered: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC, SC/PC and ST for general applications and LC for high density applications. They use MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) based optical switches to route signals between terminals by redirecting the optical signal. The 40-667C-011 is a dual 3-channel 30A MUX and is part of our range of high current multiplexers occupying two slots of PXI chassis. Each multiplexer switch uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each multiplexer channel can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.
