For sensing color, the ColorPAL uses its LED to illuminate a sample, one color component at a time, along with a broad-spectrum light-to-voltage converter to measure the light reflected back. The LTC®2992 is a rail-to-rail system monitor that measures current, voltage, and power of two supplies. It features an operating range of 2.7V to 100V and includes a shunt regulator for supplies above 100V. The voltage measurement range of 0V to 100V is independent of the input supply. Two ADCs simultaneously measure each supply’s current. A third ADC monitors the input voltages and four auxiliary external voltages. Each supply’s current and power is added for total system consumption. Minimum and maximum values are stored and an overrange alert with programmable thresholds minimizes the need for software polling. Data is reported via a standard I2C interface. Shutdown mode reduces current consumption to 25μA typically.

These adapters are often utilized as a base for many of our probing adapter products. We constantly innovate to provide the most reliable, cost effective interfaces available. For example, many of our PLCC, QFP and SOIC emulation bases use our proprietary shaped solder techniques, replacing expensive, and often fragile, J-lead and Gull Wing leads. The GX3232 is a multi-channel 16-bit, analog input and output cPCI module, supporting 32 single-ended or 16 differential input channels and four analog output channels. The inputs can be software configured for differential or single-end operation and are sequentially scanned with a maximum aggregate scan rate of 300 kS/s. Three input ranges are software-selectable: ±10 V, ±5 V or ±2.5 V. Optionally, the GX3232 is available with a high voltage input configuration and supports three ranges: ±60 V, ±30 V and ±15 V. The high voltage configuration supports 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels for high voltage and 16 single-ended or 8 differential inputs for low voltage measurement. Four analog output channels provide software-selectable output ranges of ±2.5 V, ±5 V or ±10 V. The outputs can be updated either synchronously or asynchronously and support waveform generation. Each output can be clocked at rates up to 300 kS/s. A 16-bit digital I/O port is also provided, which supports 16 bidirectional data lines. Note that when used with a TS-700 system only 8 of these digital I/O lines are available at the test system's receiver interface.
