The AD14-500 series has two 20-500 MS/sec 14-bit ADCs, 8GB of on-board memory and the ability to transfer data directly into the host computer's memory at up to 4GB/sec (500MS/s * 2 bits per sample * 2 channels). Streaming to the host computer can be performed simultaneously with acquisition to on-board memory, increasing the effective acquisition length by using the host computer's memory. Dual channel boards sample concurrently at the input clock frequency, and can also be software selected to run in single channel mode, providing twice the effective memory depth.

It measure the current with the use of a Hall effect transducer. There is a coil (current transformer) inside the current converter which is isolated from the current input.
