Scalar Feed Horn Antennas
Scalar feed horns are offered as both standard and custom build models with either a circular or rectangular waveguide interface. While scalar feed horns with a rectangular waveguide interface can only support linear polarization, models with a circular waveguide interface can support various polarization types including horizontal, vertical, left-handed circular, and right-handed circular polarization for broader applications. The standard models operate across the full waveguide band and offer 17 dBi nominal gain, 25 degrees half power beamwidth and a -28 dB side lobe level at center frequency. Waveguide Switches
Waveguide switches are electromagnetic switches with hollow circular or rectangular cross-sections and are used for routing RF energy in microwave communications, broadcasting, and in radar applications. Waveguide switches can be used to transfer both power and communication signals, and the bandwidth of a waveguide is in relation to its size, and thus always referred to by its size (e.g. WR112, WR90, WR75 etc.). Fail Safe Waveguide Switches
Waveguide switches enable very rapid switching between two RF channels. Fail Safe Waveguide Switches return to the de-energized position when the power is disconnected and requires a small holding current in the energized position. Waveguide Cassette
Waveguide cassettes provide easy way for the network analyzer calibration and material properties as dielectric permittivity or (and) magnetic permeability measurements. By changing insertion sections, it is possible to calibrate "Short" and "Thru". Optional cassettes with quarter wave "short" inserters are available. Using this waveguide cassette, it is possible to do vector network analyzer calibration or additional scalar network analyzer calibration.
