General Inclinometers

Columbia's SI-701 Series of Inclinometers are electronic tilt sensors based on Force Balance Accelerometer technology. They produce high level low impedance output proportional to the sine of the tilt angle. Model SI-701B is a low cost general purpose sensor that can be up-graded with the addition of the Columbia "HP" torquer system (SI-701BI) for greater accuracy and ruggedness. A bi-axial version of both units (SI-702B) is also available. The Model SI-701BI is designed with an output circuit made for 4-20mA data transmission systems for industrial applications. The model SI-701FND is a fluid dampened premium performance inclinometer designed to produce accurate tilt data in extreme shock and vibration environments. The latest addition in the line is Model SI-701WPBI, a waterproof (to 150 feet) inclinometer which operates from a +15 volt supply with 4-20mA output. A single power supply powers both the sensor and the 4-20mA line driver.

Waveguide Bends
Fairview Microwave’s lines of precision waveguide bends are widely used in applications such as high efficiency RF, microwave and mm-wave transmissions, satellite and military communications, radar, telecom, instrumentation and test benches. In waveguide systems that require a signal to turn or bend 90 degrees, Fairview’s waveguide bends are used to facilitate that bend or turn without degrading the transmission signal. These WG bends operate from 5.85 GHz to 90 GHz across 12 frequency bands and are available in sizes from WR-12 to WR-137. This family of waveguide bends also boast low loss and VSWR as low as 1.08:1 and are available in both E-plane and H-plane configurations. They are constructed using gold plated, oxygen free hard copper (OFHC) or painted copper alloy depending on the model and are also offered with either a UG-style flange per the military standard or a CPR-style flange. This PXI Fault Insertion module is designed to simulate common faults on two wire communication interfaces such as CAN Bus. This module supports 4 or 8-channels of two wire serial interfaces. Each channel can simulate an open fault in either or both wires, a short between both wires or a short to one of eight externally applied fault connections, such as a battery connection or ground, via four fault buses. Each channel can support up to 0.3A and is rated to handle up to 100V between the wire pairs. The wire pairs have controlled transmission line impedance suited to most differential pair signalling systems, including fast CAN Bus interfaces and RS232. Each fault bus is capable of carrying 2A allowing multiple channels to be connected to the same fault condition. Additionally, each fault bus features a changeover relay to allow the user to connect alternative fault conditions to the fault buses.
