Digital Tachometer Testers

D.Marchiori (DMA) manufacture double or triple tachometer testers. They use precision controlled DC motors with coaxial optical encoders controlled by a dedicated microprocessor. A quartz timing circuit provides maximum accuracy and control stability. Speed values (% or RPM), rotation direction, transmission ratio and 100% RPM values can be selected separately for each motor. The test set can apply star or triangle resistive load and read the output voltage for generator checks; by entering RPM and test voltage limit values the full generator check can be automatically carried out. The internal printer provides copy of the test results. Safety limits to protect UUT can be set separately for each motor.

Use a supplied probe, or a finger with wrist strap, to touch an unterminated wire and the software shows (and says) exactly where the wire should be connected. As the operator attaches each new wire, AutoBuild checks the entire assembly and provides a clear checklist showing all completed good connections. When using our resistance-capable testers, you may connect diodes and resistors by name and value, check resistance values over the tester's specified range, and test conduction and isolation resistance against specified thresholds. Programmable tones accompany the graphic screen to give clear signals to the operator when good connections are completed or when incorrect connections, resistance violations, or diode insertions are detected. The Air Shipment Milligauss Meter has been designed so that one person alone can be the tester, and do repackaging, if necessary, without moving from the area. The remote sensor, shown on the right side, is connected through a 15-foot cable to the control box (left). This control box is placed next to both the package and the tester (person) so the tester can manually rotate the shipment. The remote sensor is placed either 15 feet or 7 feet away, depending on which test is being done.
