Transformer rectifier assemblies are very useful in OEM applications when unregulated DC output is required. Input power can be single-phase or three phases. PC Based High Current Test Set for Circuit Breakers and Temperature Rise Test Equipment
This equipment comprises of high current source for testing of circuit breakers with additional facility for temperature rise testing (thus incorporating testing for moulded case, vacuum & air circuit breakers as per IEC 60947-2). The system integrates a servo controlled source with closed loop current feedback to maintain the current constant. It has the necessary instrumentation for maintaining current at full load & other conditions arising in testing at high current. The test system is designed and customized to carry out 2.55*Intest as per Table 7 (test c) of IEC 60898 (also mentioned for routine testing of MCBs. The test is done at dc current to exactly analyze and correct the bimetallic properties of the MCB as far as thermal tripping is concerned. The unit comes with a pneumatically operated test fixture with in-built dc stepper motor that is controlled by a micro controller / PC to calibrate the breaker into a narrow tripping band programmed by the user.

The stacked Logarithmic Periodic Dipole Antenna consists of two ordinary Log.-Per. structures. The excellent characteristics (flat gain over a large bandwidth, low SWR) of the ordinary Log.-Per. designs could be maintained using the stacked LP design. The stacked design helps to focus the directional pattern of the H-plane somewhat, resulting in a typical gain improvement of ca. 2-3 dB compared to an ordinary LPDA. This is especially important for immunity testing, where a maximum fieldstrength and a good field uniformity is required. The beamwidth in the E-plane and the H-plane are nearly identical, providing an optimised illumination of the EuT with minimised ground reflection influence. Further the STLP 9128 C has an excellent cross-polar rejection.
