Battery Capacity Tester
BLU-T Series
Battery load bank BLU-T is a powerful and lightweight solution designed for condition assessment of telecommunication and radio equipment backup supply. This instrument can perform the battery capacity test on battery strings such as Pb, Li-ion, Ni-Cd, and others. It tests battery strings with voltages in the range of 0,9 – 70,5 V DC. As a special feature, the BLU110T model enables capacity testing of single PB, Ni-based as well as Li cells (with current up to 100 A).The capacity test is conducted in an accurate, user-friendly way. Also, it is in accordance with battery testing standards: IEEE 450-2010, IEEE 1188-2005, IEEE 1106-2015, IEC 60896-11/22, and other relevant standards.BLU-T battery load bank enables setting the discharge current up to 350 A, with 0,1 A resolution. If higher currents are required, the BLU-T units can be connected in parallel, or BXL-T additional load units can be linked.The instrument offers a high power-to-weight ratio. BLU-T series has models starting from 12,8 kg / 28.2 lbs and up to 19,2 kW of power.A user can select one of three discharge modes: Constant current, Constant power, Constant resistance. Additionally, different battery duty cycles can be simulated using user-selectable discharge profiles.Discharge parameters can be monitored in real-time during the capacity test. A 4,3-inch touch screen shows overall battery voltage, discharge current, discharge test time and capacity during the entire test. Also, the capacity tester is compatible with DV-B Win software. A user can view a detailed numerical and graphical presentation of key parameters, and create reports in various formats.Testing can be carried out without disconnecting the battery from the service.

Regular load bank testing of generators provides an essential health check service to prevent diesel engine failure due to wet stacking. Wet stacking occurs due to under loading of the genset which results in wet un-burned fuel building up in the engine. This fuel build up will over time line the combustion chamber cylinders and cause a reduction of the engines rating and efficiency which will ultimately cause premature failure of the generator. Running the generator on load of 50% - 100% of the genset rating will allow the engine to reach the recommend operating temperature, which will burn off the choke deposits.

The 40-735 data communications multiplexer is designed for switching the data lines of serial interfaces (RS232, USB). Careful attention to the design of the module ensures that the switching system minimizes its impact on the transmission distance of USB1.1 interfaces. The MUX is available in 36:1 or 18:1 formats and enables a single source of serial data to be switched to one of 36 or 18 devices under test. This allows the data source to load information to, or receive information from, the device under test. The 36:1 version can be software configured into two independent 18 way MUXs enabling two separate sources of serial data to be connected to separate banks of 18 devices. The module is ideal for performing bulk testing of any device that relies on a serial data communications port to load software or control the device operation. Rack Mounted Load Banks
Traditional commissioning is a daunting task. Since formal system operation doesn’t begin until the system is commissioned, the commissioning team experiences intense pressure to complete the commissioning process quickly. Commissioning can involve high expense and requires staffs from different departmental disciplines to work together. For these reasons data center commissioning has almost uniquely been associated with large data centers (over 20,000 ft2 or 1,858 m2). In the recent past, many data center managers chose to roll the dice and perform little or no commissioning, relying only on start-up data to press ahead with launching the new data center. Given the reality of 24x7 operations, however, the alternative of exposure to major system failures and accompanying downtime is no longer an economically viable option. Commissioning has now become a business necessity.
