FSHV offers three different types of AC voltage test systems, the conventional type is AC test transformer design, mainly for testing objects of medium & low capacitance products, particularly for tests requiring stable voltage even if the load changes under voltage (corona, wet & pollution tests) or when the load is inductive (like inductive voltage transformers). Another is AC resonant test systems, according to series resonance circuit XL=XC (2πfL=1/2πfC), by setting F frequency of power supply or L inductance of reactor, generate a pure sinusoidal waveform of the test voltage, and the required input power is only 1/Q. Variable frequency type operates in a frequency range from 20Hz to 300Hz, ideal for field commissioning test of power cables and GIS/GIL. Variable inductance type outputs continuous AC voltage of power frequency (50/60Hz), mainly for factory testing of high and ultra-high voltage cables, power transformers, GIS, etc.

Circuit Breaker Analyzer
CAT Standard Series
The CAT Standard series circuit breaker analyzers & timers are stand-alone or a PC-controlled digital instruments for circuit breakers condition assessments. The timing channels record closing and opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. CAT Standard series records graphs of both, trip and close coil currents and displacements of the HV and MV circuit breaker moving parts. The main contact channels can also measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker). Test results can be downloaded to a USB memory stick or saved to internal memory. The CAT Standard series internal memory can store up to 500 test results (numerical and graphical data). Test results can also be printed on the 80 mm (3.15 inch) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form. HV Enclosures with Integrated Safety Test
The HV test hood according to Performance Level e (ISO 13849-1), developed by us according to the EN50191 standard (erection and operation of fixed and temporary electrical test installations), offers the highest safety for the operator. The large test chamber is enclosed with a hood made of sturdy, highly insulating and transparent plastic. During the test, there is a clear view of the test specimen. A signal light visually indicates safe opening when the light is “green”. “Red light” symbolises danger, the hood cannot be opened due to the safety interlock. High Voltage Surge Current Monitors

Designed to be used with the Model HVST High Voltage Surge tester. The Surge Current Monitor allows simultaneously surge testing 20 units. The Surge Current Monitor monitors the current going through each unit under test at the time of the surge. If a unit under test breaks down or leaks, the Surge Current Monitor will identify the bad unit by lighting the corresponding LED. The most important features of the surge tester are its ability to test the entire winding insulation system. A high voltage surge generates turn to turn, coil to coil, and phase to phase voltage stress, as well as ground insulation stress. When used as a dielectric test, accurate voltage readings are essential. The HV Surge Tester monitors the voltage directly across the winding under test. In production testing we expect that most of the time the devices will pass. In the event that one should fail, the failed device would be removed and then all the parts would have ot undergo another surge test. Since most devices pass most of the time, simultaneous surge testing can be a real time saver.
