The AMC732 is a 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) AdvancedMC™ (AMC) module which includes an on-board multi-core packet processor based on Cavium CN66XX CPU. The AMC732 is based around the Cavium OCTEON CN66xx processor which has been specifically designed to intelligently process Ethernet packets at line rate. The Battery Fault Insertion Unit (FIU) provides intelligent switching of cell-simulation channels for the Battery Simulator 1200. The switching capability enables simulation of open-circuit and short-to-rail fault conditions on any cell channel for the purposes of battery management system (BMS) testing.
