The LBO Series (Load Button) load cells are offered for compression only applications where space is limited. Matching surface must be flat and at least the diameter of (D1). The loading diameter (D2) is slightly convex for accurate load distribution. Threaded mounting holes are provided on the bottom surface for fastening down from beneath. These sensors are manufactured from heat treated 17-4phstainless steel and sealed for use in mostindustrial environments.

Surface Profile
Surface profile: The degree of profile on the surface affects a coating’s overall performance and determines aspects such as adhesion, coverage and overall volume of coatings used. If the profile is too large the amount of coating required increases, otherwise there is a danger that the peaks remain uncoated - allowing rust spots to occur. Our LPU Series are low profile, universal tension or compression "pancake" type load cells. They are available in 14 ranges from 100 lb through 50,000 lb Hold down bolt holes are provided through the outer diameter and a threaded hole provided through the center for pushing or pulling from either end. The ALB load buttons located in our accessories section, are ideal for compression applications. The LPU Series are made from 17-4ph heat treated stainless steel.
