SFP Based Fiber Optic Test Solution
Eye-BERT Micro
The Eye-BERT Micro is a low cost, easy to use, all-in-one SFP based fiber optic test solution offering high performance bit error rate testing at a fraction of the cost while providing a rich set of features not found in other bit error rate testers. Features include: variable bit rate, user programmable patterns, and optical power and temperature monitoring (per SFP capability). Additionally, with a click of a button, the Eye-BERT Micro will automatically test an SFP module based on the information it reads from the module and generate a detailed test report complete with manufacturer, part number, serial number, date code, fiber type, link length, speed, and test results. The Unit is supplied with anti-skid bumpers and is small enough to be integrated into larger systems for dedicated link verification.

NIU3E
The NIU3E is a small, rugged, low-power, self-contained multifunction I/O processing system preconfigured with 24-CH programmable Discrete I/O, 8-CH ARINC 429/575, 4-CH CANBus and 2-CH MIL-STD-1553 functions and incorporates an Ethernet switch module that offers four (4) 10GBase-SR multimode fiber optic ports and sixteen (16) 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports. The NIU3E can also be configured with one smart Configurable Open Systems Architecture™ (COSA®) function module. The NIU3E boasts a Dual or Quad Core ARM A53 processor for customer application and I/O and communications management. The NIU3E is configured with two 10/100/1000Base-T (GbE) Ethernet ports and an RS-232 port for maintenance / diagnostic or configuration interface. Ideally suited for rugged Mil-Aero applications, the NIU3E delivers off-the-shelf solutions that accelerate deployment of SWaP-optimized systems in air, land and sea applications.

Absolute Optical Encoder Kit Version

The A2K absolute encoder is a non-contacting optical rotary position sensor which reports the shaft angle within a 360 deg. range. As opposed to incremental encoders, the A2K reports the absolute position rather than the change in position. When powered up, it does not require a home cycle, even if the shaft was rotated while the power was off. In multi-turn mode, it tracks the position in a 32-bit counter as long as the power supply is maintained. Internally, an infrared LED flashes through a circular bar code onto a linear array sensor. The microcontroller decodes the image into a unique position. All user programmable parameters such as resolution, origin, direction and mode are permanently stored in an internal EEPROM
