Product DescriptionRestriction of Hazardous SubstancesThe A2 absolute encoder is a non-contacting optical rotary position sensor which reports the shaft angle within a 360 deg. range. As opposed to incremental encoders, the A2 reports the absolute position rather than the change in position. When powered up, it does not require a home cycle, even if the shaft was rotated while the power was off. In multi-turn mode, it tracks the position in a 32-bit counter as long as the power supply is maintained. Internally, an infrared LED flashes through a circular bar code onto a linear array sensor. The microcontroller decodes the image into a unique position. All user programmable parameters such as resolution, origin, direction and mode are permanently stored in an internal EEPROM

The new 81626C high-power optical head provides a 5 mm detector area and allows flexible placement of the remote optical power meter, which is then connected to the N7749C. The 81626C accepts parallel beams with up to 4 mm diameter, standard SM fiber and MM fiber with max. 100 μm core diameter, NA ≤ 0.3. A wide choice of adapters allows input from popular fiber connector types, bare fibers or open beams. Optical Oxygen Sensors
The analyzer is suitable for direct field installation (NEMA 4X) in hazardous area (Class I, Division 2). The optical fiber sensor platform allows small inline sensors to be installed into sample tubing lines (1/4”), flow cells using NPT fittings, or directly into tanks or process lines using our retractable “hot tap” sensor design. BOS optical oxygen sensors are impervious to typical O2 poisons (H2S) and interferences (combustibles, magnetic, CO2 and H2) with high accuracy and long-term stability measurements without the need for complex or advanced sample conditioning systems. The threaded version of the optical sensor has optional Dual Seal (ANSI/ISA 12.27.01) classification for high pressure applications up to 1200 PSIG (82.7 BAR).
