1‑Slot, USB CompactDAQ Chassis - The cDAQ‑9171 is a bus‑powered, CompactDAQ USB chassis designed for small, portable sensor measurement systems. The chassis provides the plug‑and‑play simplicity of USB to sensor and electrical measurements. It also controls the timing, synchronization, and data transfer between C Series I/O modules and an external host. You can use this chassis with a combination of C Series I/O modules to create a mix of analog I/O, digital I/O, and counter/timer measurements. The cDAQ‑9171 also has four 32‑bit general-purpose counters/timers that you can access through an installed, hardware‑timed digital C Series module for applications that involve quadrature encoders, PWM, event counting, pulse train generation, and period or frequency measurement.

LED Meter Probe allows the user to take Real time Phase Angle readings along with AC nominal voltage readings. A PD800W LED Meter Probe works in conjunction with the Receive Unit to verify phase identification along with the actual phase angle data. This is all done without any calculations or data transfer from the field to a base computer. The meter probe and reference probe or receive unit can operate at 100 feet of separation and up to 300 feet line of sight separation. In the event that this distance would need to be greater, the Receive Unit can be unplugged from the charging cable and taken into the field while operating on it's rechargeable batteries for up to 8 hours at a time.

The module is comprised of 36 bidirectional I/O channels and 2 Special Function Ports (SFP). The SFP can be software programmed as a variable duty-cycle clock/pulse generator, event counter, or interval/pulse timer. The I/O is selectable to interface 5.0 V, 3.3 V, 2.5 V, or 1.8 V systems. Host to module isolation eliminates ground-loops and provides protection from noise and switching transients on external signals.
