PMR Power Meter
The 3030 RF Power Meter is a modern version of the traditional Antenna Watt and VSWR instrument. The instrument cover communication bands from 30MHz to 500MHz. The 3030 RF Power Meter will measure forward and reflected power in the range from milliWatts up to 100Watts. Built in frequency counter. The counter will show the transmit frequency and will call the calibration table for the actual frequency. They use a high gain linear (series pass) stabilizer circuit for ultra low noise and low ripple output, good stability, and accurate resettability, and they are MIL-STD-461 compliant.MSK's "Preview" switch (d-c on-off) allows voltage and current to be pre-set with the digital meters displaying the set values. At "d-c off," no voltage is applied to the output terminals and no load current needs to be drawn to set the current limit. At "d-c on," the set voltage is applied to the output terminals, the appropriate mode indicator illuminates and the meters indicate actual voltage and current.

Dummy Load
Dummy load is capable of dissipating four times the legal limit 6 kW for 2 minutes and legal limit 1500 watts key down, forever. It covers the 160 meter to 6 meter bands (actually 1 Mhz-60 MHz continuously). It is a dry dummy load intended for testing amplifiers and station conditions. Two fans on the rear of the unit are automatically turned on when the internal temperature reaches 120°F/49°C . The unit runs off a universal AC supply. National RF’s Type NDB-2 and NDB-3 RF Milliwatt Meters are affordable pieces of test equipment for both the RF laboratory and the home experimenter. Both provide a digital reading of RF power in dB reference 1 milliwatt of power into a 50 ohm load (i.e. 0 dBm). The circuitry consists of a low noise logarithmic amplifier that drives a digital A/D converting meter circuit. The lowest power levels that can be read are about –73 dBm (approximately 40 microvolts or .00000003 milliwatts). The maximum power input should not exceed 10 milliwatts (+10 dBm or .010 watts) when inputed without attenuation. An internal attenuator is provided and described in the next section.

The Kepco HSP series provides mission critical power. HSP comprises a group of twelve models, eight 1000 watt power supplies with outputs from 3.3 volts to 125 volts and four 1500 watt power supplies with outputs from 24 volts to 125 volts. All models feature current-sharing for parallel redundant N+1 operation. Models with the or-ing diode, option R, are capable of hot swapping when plugged into Kepco¹s RA 60 series rack adapter. Models with a digital meter, option M, are also available (see photo, right). A mechanical keying scheme allows the user to define which power supply will plug into a specified slot in the housing. Output voltage and current limit settings are adjustable from the panel and may be remotely adjusted.
