The TDSM Series are low cost absolute encoders consisting of a size 11 electromagnetic transducer and a 2.6 x 3.1 x .6 conversion module. The outputs available are 12 to 16 bit binary format representing 0 to 359.99 degrees of absolute shaft angle input. The transducer reference supply is also included in the module which is designed for printed circuit mounting. A data transfer and data hold line are provided for simple computer or microprocessor interfacing. Chroma 17000 series is specifically designed for the formation of Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer secondary batteries. The 17000 series is a complete turn-key system, including carrier trays, robust battery probe contacts, high quality charge/discharge modules and intuitive software all under computer control. Patented Battery Voltage Tracking (BVT) DC-DC conversion power modules minimize power consumption in battery charging, and Energy Recycle Modules (ERM) recycle the discharged energy directly back to the DC power system for increased power efficiency. ECM P/N 5033 provides eight channels of RS485 / RS422 I/O. The 110 ohm termination for each channel is enabled or disabled in software. Disabling termination saves power by eliminating unneeded or redundant termination. Speeds of up to 20 Mega bits per second are possible, but this design also features a 250K bits per second slower edge rate mode. The 250K bit mode is valuable when EMI is more of a concern and throughput is not important. All channels power up as inputs with the outputs disabled.
