The M-310 series of translation stages are our smallest micrometer-driven positioners. The carriage is spring preloaded against the micrometer tip for elimination of backlash. M-310 series stages are available in one-, two- or three-axis configurations. The latter consists of a two-axis stage, an angle bracket and a one-axis stage. Please note that an XY unit cannot be separated into two one-axis stages. The vertical stage in the M-313 XYZ assembly supports the load through the micrometer spindle (not the preload springs) providing excellent stability.

This software inverts resistivity and IP data acquired with electrodes arranged in boreholes and/or on the surface and presents a 3D volume of inverted resistivity data with advanced volume rendering technique. The final resistivity or IP image-volume can be rotated in any orientation, zoomed in and out, and translated to anywhere inside the image window in order to see the volume of interest in detail. Colors representing areas of less interest can be made transparent so that the shape of a pollution plume, for example, can be visible. The SparkFun MAX31855K Thermocouple Breakout is a simple 14-bit resolution, SPI-compatible, serial interface thermocouple digitizer that makes reading a wide range of temperatures possible. A thermocouple works by taking two wires made of dissimilar metals, connecting them at the two ends, and making a temperature gradient between one end and the other (a 'hot' end and a 'cold' one). Once this is achieved, a voltage potential is formed and current flows. The SparkFun Thermocouple Breakout takes a standard Type-K thermocouple in one end, digitizes the temperature measured and sends that data out the other end via a SPI interface, thereby interpreting the data and translating it for you to read!

SEN-36002 is a highly integrated carrier board designed for the Si1145 UV, Ambient Light and Proximity sensor IC from Silicon Labs. This sensor has 100mLUX resolution, and has a dynamic range of 1 LUX to 128 kLUX with IR correction. This means that whether your application is indoors in poor lighting conditions or outside in full sunlight, this sensor has you covered. In addition, we added a high power LED (150mA max, 20 degree) to take full advantage of the proximity sensing capability of this IC - something you won't see on most competitive carrier boards. Integration is easy with 4 x 4-40 sized mounting holes at the corners of the PCB and signal translation to handle interface voltages from 3V to 5V. The board is interfaced via an I2C interface and function pins have been broken out to a 0.1" pin header. The INT pin is also broken out for interrupt capability.

The 4000B is our standard air-driven directional gyro. As the aircraft turns left or right, gears on the sensing unit and dial shaft translate this rotation into rotation of the instrument’s vertical dial. Left turns produce clockwise dial rotation and right turns produce counter-clockwise rotation. The gyro is controlled by a heading selector knob located on the lower left of the instrument. Pressing and turning the knob first disengages the dial shaft and then resets the dial to a new heading, which results in a new course indication. Releasing the selector knob re-engages the dial shaft. The on-course position of the pointer is always at the top of the azimuth circle (0° on the dial with the aircraft headed north).
