The ALPHI MPCI-1553-DDC uses the BU-65864 communication device as its 1553 bus controller, or remote terminal, or monitor terminal. A single controller has two redundant channels and built in transceivers. The controller has internal transceivers for both channel A and B. The Mini PCI board has on-board transformers for both channels. The board format is a Mini PCI boardlayout.

The AD16-250 series has two or four 250 MS/sec 16-bit ADCs, 8GB of on-board memory and the ability to transfer data directly into the host computer's memory at over 1 GB/sec. Dual and quad channel boards sample concurrently at the input clock frequency, and can also be software selected to run in single channel mode, providing up to four (4) times the effective memory depth.

The PMC analyzer plugs onto the adapter and then the mated adapter and analyzer plug into a PCI, CompactPCI or PC/104+ system. These passive adapters route the bus signals from the analyzer to the bus with minimal trace length and impedance matching. The adapters provide the full 64 bit interconnect between the analyzer and the bus.
