High-frequency signals on ground is never good news - it interferes with normal operation of equipment and creates electrical overstress (EOS). However it is easy to block propagation of EMI on ground by installing highly-effective ground EMI filtes in ground lines. Our unique patent-pending ground EMI filters provide very low impedance for DC and mains' power while effectively blocking propagation of high-frequency currents throughout facility or equipment ground. Ground filters meet safety standards, as well as ANSI/ESD S6.1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20.

Service Ground Test Set

TESCO’s Service Ground Test Set has been designed to check the condition of the ground connection on a secondary service. If for any reason the ground connection has a resistance, this can be immediately detected by the Test Set. The Service Ground Test Set consists of a voltmeter which can be shunted by a resistance of 60 ohms. The voltmeter is of the suppressed zero type with a double range, from 65 to 130 or from 130 to 260, and can be used for checking service voltage independently of the ground test.

High Resistance Neutral Grounding Devices

HRG systems limit the fault current by placing high resistance between neutral point of transformer (or generator) and ground. As it is not possible to locate the fault point in delta connected systems, an artificial neutral point is created and delta connected system can be grounded. This allows a fault current of a few amperes thus locating the fault point gets easy. When the neutral point is grounded thru high resistance, both continuity of operation is provided during fault condition and sufficient current (typically between 2 A and 10 A) flow is provided for ease of locating the fault point.
