Optical Wavelength Meter
Optoplex Optical wavelength meter (OWM) uses proprietary thin-film interference filter in conjunction with Fabry-Perot cavity technology combined with a micro-actuator and high-speed electronics. Its working principle is schematically shown below. By comparison with Optical channel monitor / Optical performance monitor, the proprietary wavelength reference unit is introduced to ensure high precision wavelength measurements. Optoplex Optical wavelength meter is the only DWDM wavelength meter capable of measuring wavelengths of multi-lasers in DWDM networks over C-band and L-band wavelength range with a high accuracy better than that the wavelength locker can provide. For example, the device can simultaneously report 80 wavelength values of 80 channels at 50 GHz channel spacing with the wavelength accuracy ± 2 GHz. DPRAM, RS-232, or USB interfaces are available and OWM can be customized to meet specific requirements.

In the mode of the network parameters meter, the AXI DPNA-6G module measures the vector values of the network parameters on two ports: transmission coefficients (S12, S21) and reflection (S11, S22). At the same time, all necessary types of calibrations are supported: one- and two-port short-circuit, XX, matched load, transmission normalization. The software supports the import of third party calibration standard parameters. In the measuring receiver mode, the module provides:*generation of a harmonic signal (frequency synthesizer);*spectrum analyzer and power level in a given band;*measuring the frequency of a known signal;*measurement of analog modulation parameters;*phase noise measurement.

The primary application area of CANape is in optimizing parameterization (calibration) of electronic control units. During a measurement process, you can simultaneously calibrate parameters and record signals. The communication between CANape and the ECUs takes place via protocols such as XCP or via microcontroller-specific interfaces with the VX1000 measurement and calibration hardware. CANape supports various ADAS sensors such as radar, LIDAR and video. Combined with high-performance hardware, CANape can store multiple gigabytes of data per second. Calibration data management and convenient measurement data evaluation including data management as well as reporting make CANape a complete tool for ECU calibration. Of course, CANape also provides access to bus data, diagnostic data and analog measurement data.
