SMPTE Studio Camera Hybrid Fiber Converters & Power Supplies
SMPTE-HUT Series
-
We work in an industry of hybrid workflows and solutions, but sometimes we need authentic innovation that changes how we work. MultiDyne’s next-generation SMPTE-HUT Series is the definition of a pure solution that elevates the live production workflow. SMPTE-HUT universal camera transceivers free SMPTE-based camera chains from the limitations of hybrid copper and fiber cabling, and removes interferences associated with copper connectivity. Camera operators instead have a plug-and-play system that requires only two stands of single-mode fiber - reducing costs, weight, and set-up times – while ensuring the best possible signal integrity. With options to multiplex camera signals, boost the optical range of cameras and regenerate optical power over fiber, SMPTE-HUT is a purist’s solution for remote broadcasting, sports production and other long-distance SMPTE studio camera applications.

2-Wavelength, Polarization-Maintaining WDMs
-
Thorlabs' Fused Polarization Maintaining (PM) Wavelength Division Multiplexers (WDMs) combine two wavelengths of light in PM fiber while maintaining the polarization of the incident light. These WDMs are reversible; they can also be used to split two discrete wavelengths entering the common port into two separate output ports. They are not designed to split the output from a broadband source. PM WDMs are often used for pump / signal applications that incorporate erbium-doped or ytterbium-doped fiber amplifiers. They can be readily customized for a wide variety of applications, enabling rapid design cycles and new project builds. For custom requests, please contact Tech Support.
