The 90332 digital FM telemetry systems is designed to be used with full-bridge, strain gage sensors. The system features a miniature transmitter powered by a simple 9V battery, and a remote receiver capability of receiving the digital transmission over long distances. Improvements with a digital technique include elimination of ripple, temperature drift characteristics, and higher signal resolution.

Maximum power consumed by transmitter and receiver are 1.2W and 8W, respectively. Sense level for receiver is less than –19 dBm and No sense level for receiver is more than –22 dBm with 1mw (0 dBm) transmitter power. The equipment is designed to work satisfactorily with temperature variation from 0°C to 55°C with relative humidity of 95% at 35°C. Suitable test points are provided in the back of the equipment to monitor the necessary parameters.

The Lumistar LS-27-B Modular Dual Channel Tri-Band Tracking and Data Receiver is Lumistar’s third generation of modular high performance FM Receivers. This wideband designs supports one or two independent channels of PCM with data rates up to 20Mbps. The unit includes both an optional FM demodulated output for PCM data, and standard programmable AM/linear AGC outputs for auto-tracking receivers. The design offers 8 IF Bandwidths and 8 Video Filters per channel for each receiver.AC coupling with a low pass filter is employed to ensure a high quality data link with long strings of NRZ-L ones or zeroes. The unit provides a software selectable 10 MHz reference I/O port forlocking local oscillators to a high precision external source or to arrange multiple units in a master/slave arrangement. The receiver’s control and status is achieved via Ethernet, USB or auto-switched RS-232 (or “4-wire” RS-485 in place of 232). When utilizing the RS-422 interface, multi-drop configurations can be accommodated.
