Enhanced Vision Systems
Elbit Systems of America’s Degraded Visual Environment (DVE) solution uses intuitive 3D grid symbology along with a helmet tracker to provide critical helicopter/tilt-rotor cues during brownout operations. This system, which is an upgrade to the head-up display installed on many military helicopters, removes weight or drag penalties by eliminating nose-mounted sensors.
