eNet is a small, rugged 1553 to Ethernet appliance/converter (~200 grams and about the size of a 4 stub coupler) and offers the same advanced BC, mRT and BM functions as our cards. In addition, eNet can provide an additional independent BM mode to auto bridge (transmit) 1553 messages on user defined IP/UDP packet header. The appliance can also auto-load setup images for fast auto start-up, which would be ideal for simple RT applications that wouldn’t even need an API interface (just a standard UDP interface – usually through simple socket programming).

They are packaged in a 2.6 x 3.1 x .82" H PC board mounting module.

Our advanced, rugged, industrial-grade, RS232 / RS485 / RS422 serial to multi-drop fiber optic converters are designed to cover large areas. These converters support up to 255 fiber nodes, and each fiber node can extend the RS232 / RS422 / RS485's distance to 3 miles (5km) for multi-mode converters and cables, or 25 miles (40km) for single-mode converters and cables. Depending on the site situation, these multi-drop fiber optic converters can be configured as a daisy-chain or a self-healing redundant ring fiber network. When configured as a ring fiber network, the built-in self-healing feature allows the data to be transmitted clockwise or counterclockwise; therefore, failure of any individual converter will not affect other devices located on the same fiber ring, making the entire data network more robust and reliable. ADLINK's NuDAM data acquisition modules make up a total acquisition network and control system.
