DDS – Direct Digital Synthesis – is a method for generating sine waves from a single, fixed-frequency reference clock and is widely used in signal generation applications. The DDS functionality implemented on Spectrum Instrumentation’s AWG platform is based on the principle of adding multiple “DDS cores” to generate a mul?ti-carrier (multi-tone) signal, with each carrier having its own well-defined frequency, amplitude and phase. The PCI-9527L is a high-performance, 2-CH analog input and 2-CH analog output dynamic signal acquisition board. This board is specifically designed for audio testing, acoustic measurement, and vibration analysis applications.The ADLINK PCI-9527L features two 24-bit simultaneous sampling analog input channels. The 24-bit sigma-delta ADC provides a sampling rate up to 216 KS/s at high resolutions, making it ideal for higher bandwidth dynamic signal measurements. The sampling rate can be adjusted by setting the onboard DDS clock source to an appropriate frequency. All channels are sampled simultaneously and accept an input range from ±40 V to ±0.316 V. The PCI-9527L analog input supports software selectable AC or DC coupling and 4 mA bias current for integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) sensors.

The lightning wave impulse current generator is an impulse current generator that generates a simulated lightning current waveform . Its working process is as follows: first, the transformer charges the capacitor bank through the silicon pile, when the charging voltage reaches a predetermined value, the spark gap is triggered, and the capacitor is discharged through the total inductance and total resistance of the circuit. When the resistance is greater than or equal to the critical damping value, a unidirectional impulse current wave is generated in the circuit. When the resistance is less than the critical damping value, an oscillating impulse current wave is generated. The magnitude of the impact current amplitude is related to the circuit parameters. When the capacitance value and charging voltage are the same, the smaller the inductance value, the greater the current amplitude. In order to obtain as much current as possible, a pulse capacitor with a small inductance value is usually selected, and the total length of the connecting line should be as short as possible when arranging the main capacitor, so that the total loop inductance value can be reduced as much as possible.
