The AS6212 communicates via I2C and has eight available I2C addresses selected by a pair of solder jumpers on the board. The breakout routes the I2C interface to a pair of Qwiic connectors to work with our plug-and-play Qwiic Ecosystem but also routes the bus and other pins to a standard 0.1"-spaced PTH header for users who prefer a soldered connection.
