The input signal of the Vibration meter software, which is the output signal of the accelerometer, i.e. the vibrational acceleration signal, is filtered by means of one of four possible digital band filters. Then, based on this signal, vibrational velocity and displacement signals are calculated by means of integrating filters. Thus, the software generates three signals which are transferred to the ZETLAB data server virtual channels created by the program and having the word “Acceleration”, “Speed” or “Displacement” in their names, respectively.Signals are averaged for a selected time interval (0.1 s, 1 s, or 10 s), after which the obtained values are displayed in the dialog box elements of the Vibration meter program. It is possible to display a root-mean-square (RMS), average amplitude or peak value.

ICS's Ethernet Parallel Digital Interface boards provide the user with a wide range of IO signals that can be user configured to match virtually any application. These Ethernet boards are available with high power relay driver boards and with optional firmware designed to simplify switching applications. The 80x3 boards have high-power TTL signals that can sink 48 mA and source 24 mA. Pullup resistors make it easy to interface with CMOS logic and to sense contact closures. User configures data byte direction and polarity. The 80x3 boards are VXI-11 compliant for operation with NI or Agilent VISA, LabVIEW and VEE and support raw socket connections. Low noise amplifier with 12.5 dB of gain covering the nominal frequency range 1 MHz to 3 GHz and can be used in the range from 200 kHz to 4 GHz. With its high gain and low noise figure, it will significantly increase the sensitivity of virtually all spectrum analyzers and other RF measuring instruments. All measuring instruments have a 'noise figure', which is a measure of how good the instrument is at measuring low level signals, the lower this figure, the better, although the lowest signal level will still be governed by the measurement bandwidth. A typical spectrum analyzer may have a noise figure of 20 dB or more, whereas a typical receiver may have a noise figure of 10 dB. The preamplifier has a noise figure of typically 4 dB, significantly enhancing the low level performance of such instruments, enabling signals that were previously masked by noise to be seen.
