The SI58 software provides prompts to the operator for temperature and pressure points to achieve an accurate calibration.

Featured are an integral variable reluctance transducer, solid state electronics module, 3 digit liquid crystal display (LCD)* and battery pack with six 1.5V penlight cells for truly portable operation. The units can also be powered from an external DC power supply or AC battery eliminator (converter) module. The transducer features all corrosion resistant materials in contact with the pressure media (both ports in differential units), very low internal cavity volumes and ultra-low volumetric displacement with full-scale pressure excursion. Transducer calibration is unaffected by dielectric properties of the sensed fluid. Gauge and differential transducers may be disassembled and range changed by simple diaphragm replacement.

Easy Sense Software

Easy Sense 2100 is available for use with the UPC2100. Easy Sense 225x is used with the Universal Data Acquisition System(UDAS) or the USB2251. The Software includes a GUI configuration utility that allows the user to set sensor type, gain range, channel, and all other input parameters. The configuration can be saved to non-volatile memory on the card so that the UP2100 or the UDAS can be used in embedded applications.

The CD16 Miniature Carrier Demodulator is designed to deliver a 0 to 5 Vdc output from a variable reluctance transducer and operate from unregulated 9 to 55 Vdc power. A square wave excitation of 5 kHz is furnished to the transducer and the solid state integrated circuit amplifier and demodulator converts the transducer signal to an analog dc output. Zero and Span adjustments are made through access holes in the case.

Network Sensor Interface for USB Pressure Transducers

The Validyne model SI314 is a network interface that connects our model P61 USB pressure Transducer to your smart phone or network web browser. The SI314 supports Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections and will display current pressure readings and transducer status on any web browser or via smart phone. The SI314 also displays the transducer temperature, date of calibration, model and serial numbers and these can be viewed wirelessly or by Ethernet connection. The SI314 makes your P61 accessible from anywhere in the world. Data logging of pressure data is configured via a web browser or smart phone and readings may be stored once per minute to once per hour. A thumb drive or memory card collects the data in comma separated file format(csv) for download to your computer. The data may also be accessed via the network. A graph of the data is also generated on request. A Twitter function allows pressure data to be tweeted from the SI314 at user-defined intervals. The transducer zero and span calibration adjustments are password protected and operated via browser buttons. No potentiometer adjustments are required to calibrate the P61 transducer.
