Vehicle Pressure Acquisition System
VPAS
The Vehicle Pressure Acquisition System (VPAS) is designed to record and display up to 8 or 16 low pressure measurement points for the investigation of vehicle pressures within the passenger cabin, in HVAC ducting or with respect to the exterior of the vehicle. Validyne DP103 pressure sensors can be ordered with full scale ranges as low as 0.1 in H20 and up to 55 in H20.

Easy Sense Software
Easy Sense 2100 is available for use with the UPC2100. Easy Sense 225x is used with the Universal Data Acquisition System(UDAS) or the USB2251. The Software includes a GUI configuration utility that allows the user to set sensor type, gain range, channel, and all other input parameters. The configuration can be saved to non-volatile memory on the card so that the UP2100 or the UDAS can be used in embedded applications.

Portable Digital Manometer

Featured are an integral variable reluctance transducer, solid state electronics module, 3 digit liquid crystal display (LCD)* and battery pack with six 1.5V penlight cells for truly portable operation. The units can also be powered from an external DC power supply or AC battery eliminator (converter) module. The transducer features all corrosion resistant materials in contact with the pressure media (both ports in differential units), very low internal cavity volumes and ultra-low volumetric displacement with full-scale pressure excursion. Transducer calibration is unaffected by dielectric properties of the sensed fluid. Gauge and differential transducers may be disassembled and range changed by simple diaphragm replacement.

Multi-Channel Carrier Demodulator

The CD280 Carrier Demodulator is a complete multi channel system in a small package which houses a plug-in power supply and 4 carrier demodulator circuit boards. The power supply provides regulated 5 Vac 5 kHz carrier power for Variable Reluctance and LVDT transducers , and the carrier demodulators demodulate and amplify the input signals to a 10 Vdc full-scale output. Zero and span adjustments are available for each channel. The system operates from 115 Vac, 50 to 400 Hz, line power.

The SI58 software allows the user to set zero and span as well as do full temperature compensation and linearity corrections for your Validyne USB pressure transducer. The SI58 provides everything needed to change the range of your transducer and calibrate it through the new full scale pressure. Corrections to non-linearity and temperature error are also possible. The SI58 software provides prompts to the operator for temperature and pressure points to achieve an accurate calibration.

Carrier Demodulator with LED Display

The CD23 and CD223 Digital Transducer Indicators are designed for use with variable reluctance and differential transformer transducers. The CD23 accepts input from a single transducer, and the CD223 accepts two switch-selectable inputs, with Zero and Span controls for each input. The indicators provide 5 Vrms, 5 kHz carrier excitation voltage to the transducer(s) and solid state circuitry to amplify, demodulate and filter the transducer output signals. A 3 1/2 digit front panel display is standard, with a 4 1/2 digit display optionally available.

Network Sensor Interface for USB Pressure Transducers

The Validyne model SI314 is a network interface that connects our model P61 USB pressure Transducer to your smart phone or network web browser. The SI314 supports Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections and will display current pressure readings and transducer status on any web browser or via smart phone. The SI314 also displays the transducer temperature, date of calibration, model and serial numbers and these can be viewed wirelessly or by Ethernet connection. The SI314 makes your P61 accessible from anywhere in the world. Data logging of pressure data is configured via a web browser or smart phone and readings may be stored once per minute to once per hour. A thumb drive or memory card collects the data in comma separated file format(csv) for download to your computer. The data may also be accessed via the network. A graph of the data is also generated on request. A Twitter function allows pressure data to be tweeted from the SI314 at user-defined intervals. The transducer zero and span calibration adjustments are password protected and operated via browser buttons. No potentiometer adjustments are required to calibrate the P61 transducer. It has a "true" full-scale range as low as 0.25" H2O, making it ideal for air flow control applications. It can be turned down to 0.1" H2O; higher full-scale ranges to 100" H2O are available.
