These Chassis controls up to 8 8x1 modules, 16 4x1 modules or mixtures of 8x1"s, 4x1"s, 2x1"s and 2x2 modules in any combination or configuration for up to 64 relay drives. LEDs on the front panel show switch and power status. Add Switch Modules, display / driver modules and a Control Module to complete the system or simply buy the chassis wired out to D connectors to control your own relays. A manual control is optional.

Switch Module
This module has 16 single pole relays arranged as an 8x2 matrix as shown in the figure to the left. The matrix may be operated and wired individually for up to 16 8x2's per chassis, or jumpered to the backplane to form up to a 128x2 matrix. It is available with Type S or M reed relays for high speed, long life application. These modules are usually used for 2 wire testing where high and low meter leads must be switched between any two points. Often used for 2 wire LCR meter measurements, cable testing, or open / short testing in a variety of applications.

Cytec's VDM Series of video and RF switching systems are based on a solid state switch fabric and are available in non-blocking, full fan-out configurations of 8x8 to 32x32, with a small signal bandpass of 400MHz. Input and output buffers can be modified for different impedance or signal levels. Both the switch modules and control modules are modular for ease of expansion and low MTTR. Start with an 8x8 matrix and expand to a 32x32 simply by adding additional input and output modules.

This module has 16 single pole, Form A, discrete relays which are wired and controlled individually. The relays can be externally wired to make any configuration needed. Use as individual ON/OFF relays or use them to drive external relays, solinoids, or any external device. It is available with Type S or M reed relays.
